Tracks: 1. Eternity 2. Race Car
Joseph Tyler is a California-based artist who wrote, produced and recorded a two-sided project called, Eternity, in his own studio. He wants to emphasize that the intention behind writing “Eternity” and “Race Car” were for them to be listened to together; I highly recommend taking that into consideration!

“Eternity” is a blend of dreamy and bouncy. It expresses a strong dedication to someone, and there’s undeniable passion incorporated. The lyrics are wrapped in an idealistic sweetness. There is a dynamically full variety of elements throughout the track, that generate a lively and spirited vibe. Vocals towards the end exude a fresh, memorable R&B-style sound that I really enjoyed.
“It’s about being in love. It’s about growing up. It’s about the ebb and flow I experience while making music. It’s about the importance of creating eternal memories with the people, places, and things that mean the most to me” – Joseph Tyler
Next is a self-reflecting piece that radiates impowering independence; but not without moments of doubt and insecurity. “Race Car” portrays the experience of having so many thoughts consuming your mind at once. It’s about remembering to live life and take risks before it passes by. The last minute or so subtly transitions back to the mentality that is displayed in “Eternity”; Which definitely makes the importance of listening to the two tracks together prominent and understandable. Incredible concept and execution.
It’s been such a privilege to witness Joseph Tyler’s journey from previous bands such as Playing in the Streets, to this current endeavor. His talent has always been remarkable, but with his recent experimenting and discovering, I truly believe he has created music that stands-out and authentically represents who he is today.
